Bridging Gaps: Fostering Respect Between Kink Generations
Hosted by Sadovarius.
People have been talking about "kids these days" since the dawn of time. But younger kinksters are everywhere, and we want to be heard. Intergenerational conflict has existed and will continue to exist, and this is evident to varying degrees in most kink communities. The good news, conflict isn't a bad thing. It is possible to work past the gridlock between both sides, compromise, and create a greater understanding and connection that honors the core needs of everyone. This class fosters skills necessary to regulate the self, listen effectively, and compromise efficiently to unify groups separated by time and experience.

Conflict in Kink
Hosted by The Eulenspiegel Society (TES) or TES Presents
Conflict can be scary, but it doesn't have to be. In fact, it can be a catalyst for greater growth and connection. What's important is how you handle it. Based on supported research from several fields, this class cuts through the extra stuff and the conventional advice to cover interpersonal skills for conflict management such as compromise, awareness, and emotion regulation for happier, healthier kinksters. You'll learn what conflict is (and what it isn't), how to recognize healthy vs. unhealthy conflict, repair after relationship ruptures, and practical tips for ensuring the conversations go well. These skills are applicable in families, vanilla life, dynamics, communities, and anywhere where disagreements come up. Whether you avoid conflict at all costs or have never minded getting into the thick of it, this class is for all.

Emotional First Aid for Kinksters
Hosted by The Eulenspiegel Society (TES) or TES Presents
What's in your emotional first aid kit? First coined by Guy Winch, the term emotional first aid refers to a set of skills used to respond to emotional injuries we ourselves or others may experience. The first responses to a situation can drastically affect the outcome, whether it's responding to your partner losing their job, or someone you know who has experienced a major consent violation. Take moments of pain and turn them into opportunities for connection. In this class, you will learn and practice easy steps for assessing situations, responding appropriately, and the next steps to take; all while protecting yourself from being emotionally injured or further injured. Practical application is discussed for kink communities/dynamics and addresses some of the emotional injuries that are unique to our spaces.
